Smart Communications to launch Nokia Lumia 900 and Lumia 610 in the next two weeks?

Smart Cares, Smart Communications Twitter based customer service group, has been busy the entire Holy Week answering customer queries and looking into problems. In fact, rather than being on vacation they appear to be on overtime. @SmartCares never sleeps. They have found to do other things other than customer service. This Easter Sunday they found time to announce the release of two new Smart exclusive phones.

If we were to take a guess, we would put our money of the Nokia Lumia 900 and Lumia 610. Smart Communications have had the Nokia Lumia 900 and the Lumia 610 posted on their website for the past two weeks with the label coming soon.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is the phone that Microsoft and Nokia is betting on to make its Windows Phone platform fly. The Lumia 900 is a larger 4.3-inch version of the Nokia Lumia 800 and in many ways makes up for all the shortcomings of its smaller sibling. The Nokia Lumia 900 larger 4.3-inch display makes it better suited to challenge the top of the line Android phones and Apple's iPhone. The addition of front camera adds the main feature missing on the Lumia 800.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Lumia 610 is a lower end version of the Lumia 710, with less RAM and a slower processor, but expected to come in at a price point which should make it the cheapest Windows Phone 7 device ever released. This allows Windows Phone 7 to compete with Android at more price points. Still, this lower end device has a impressive 3.7-inch display.

We should find out for sure in two weeks or less.
