Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus S7500 is now available

Samsung has released a successor to its popular Samsung Galaxy Ace from 2011. The new phone, the Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus has a larger 3.65-inch screen as compared to the Galaxy Ace, but has the same 320 x480 screen resolution. The processor speed has been bumped up 25% to 1 GHz and the phone now has full Adobe Flash Support in the browser. Internal storage has gotten a big boost, it is now a 3 GB, which should mean more than 2 GB user available. Storage is expandable via a MicroSD card slot.

The other specifications are about the same. A very decent 5 MP camera, but no front camera and the phone still runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Priced at Php13,490 with a one year manufacturers warranty it main competition is Sony's Xperia Neo V. The Neo V's main advantage is the 3.7-inch 480 x 800 resolution display. The Ace Plus brings over 2 GB of user available storage versus the 320 MB for the Neo V. Depending on your priorities, one phone or the other could be a better choice.

If Samsung had given this phone a higher resolution display it would have been the clear winner.
