LG launched their Windows Phone 7 powered Optimus 7 today. Priced at 29,990, it is a bit too expensive for a 3.8-inch touchscreen smartphone powered by 1 GHz Scorpion processor and Adreno 200 graphics processing unit. Basically, these are the internal components of a old HTC Desire. Still, Windows Phone 7 runs smoothly on these specifications and really does not need anything more powerful right now. The Optimus 7 also has a generous 16GB of internal storage and a large 1500 mAH battery.
Still with the HTC Mozart 7 being offered for just over Php20K the Optimus 7 seems way overpriced. These days, anything sold for Php30K should have a dual processor under the hood.
