The MSI WindPad 100W tablet is now available in the market. It has a 10.1-inch screen, runs on Windows 7 Starter, and is powered by an Intel Atom Z530 CPU, and 2GB of RAM. Connectivity is via WiFi and Bluetooth. It does not have 3G. Storage is via a adequate 32GB SSD and it comes a memory card reader. It has a mini HDMI output but not the power to actually play HD content.
At Php29,995 it is not something we can recommend. If you have some need for Windows only compatible software on a tablet, I guess this will have to do. It is really nothing more than a netbook (with a slow CPU) with a touchscreen instead of a keyboard. For the money, get a netbook and pocket the cash or get a real tablet like the Apple iPad.
